Meet Sara
Building a brighter future for children, one step at a time.
Sara is a paediatric occupational therapist with 15 years of experience supporting children and young people to thrive in their everyday lives.
Her approach is play-based, strengths-focused, and neuro-affirming, which means sessions are built around your child, not a one-size-fits-all program.

Our Approach
AtMove Play Learn, out work is guided by a simple belief: that the right support, delivered the right way, makes all the difference.

1
Child-Led
Sara follows your child's lead. Sessions are built around what engages and motivates them, because learning happens best when a child feels safe and in control.

2
Play-Based
Play is how children make sense of the world. It's also how Sara works, using it as a genuine therapeutic tool, not just a warm-up.

3
Strengths-Focused
Every child has things they're good at. Sara starts there, building skills and confidence from what's already working.

4
Family-Centred
Parents are part of the process, not just observers. Sara works with you to make sure what happens in sessions carries through to real life at home and at school.

Most Popular Questions
Find answers to common questions about my therapy services, scheduling, and what to expect during your child's journey with me.
How do I know if my child needs OT?
If your child is struggling with everyday tasks such as managing emotions, getting dressed, handwriting, play, or social situations, OT can help. You don't need a diagnosis to make an enquiry. If you're not sure, reach out and Sara can talk it through with you.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to book with Sara. However, if you're accessing sessions through Medicare, a referral from your GP will be required.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is an initial consultation where Sara gets to know your child and your family. It's a chance to talk through your concerns, understand your child's strengths and challenges, and start building a picture of what support might look like.
Are parents involved in sessions?
Yes — and intentionally so. Sara works with parents as part of the process, not just at the end of a session. What happens in the clinic needs to carry through to home and school, and that only works when families are involved.
Do you work with NDIS participants?
Yes. Move Play Learn supports NDIS participants, Medicare referrals, and private paying clients.
