How We Can Support Your Child

Every child is different. That's why every therapy journey is tailored to your child's strengths, needs and goals.

Individual Occupational Therapy

Strengths-based, neuro-affirming OT for children and young people. We work together with families to understand each child's unique strengths and support needs — using play, meaningful activities and genuine connection to build skills, confidence and everyday independence.

Parent Support

Children spend one hour a fortnight in therapy — and hundreds of hours at home. Parent coaching helps the adults around a child feel confident and equipped with practical strategies they can use every day. It's a core part of how we work, not an add-on.

Our assessments look at the whole child — what motivates them, what helps them feel regulated, and what supports participation at home, school and in the community. You'll receive practical recommendations, meaningful goals and strategies you can start using straight away.

Children do best when the important people in their lives are working together. We work together with teachers, educators and other professionals to develop consistent strategies that support your child across every environment.

School & Kindergarten Collaboration
Reports & Funding Support

Sara provides reports to support NDIS funding applications and reviews, school supports, paediatricians and other treating professionals.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every child is different, so support should be too. Therapy at Move Play Learn is collaborative, practical and focused on what matters most to your child and family.

Challenges We Help With

Emotional Regulation

When emotions feel bigger than the situation, everyday life can become overwhelming for children and their families. Together, we'll explore what your child's behaviour is communicating and build practical strategies that support regulation, flexibility and confidence.

You might be here if your child...

Has frequent meltdowns or emotional outbursts

Finds it difficult to calm down

Becomes overwhelmed by small changes

Has trouble moving between activities

Anxiety & Worries

Some children experience worries that make everyday life feel harder than it needs to. Therapy focuses on building confidence, flexibility and coping strategies while helping children participate in the things that matter most.
